Our Initiatives
Join Us to Make a Difference
Advocacy
Our advocacy is a relentless commitment to improving the lives of animals. We tackle overpopulation at its root, ensuring every animal we rescue is spayed or neutered, while also addressing behavioral needs through dedicated training, setting our rescues up for successful forever homes. But we don’t stop there—every animal receives any necessary medical care to not just survive but thrive, extending their lease on life and offering a new beginning. With the power of our passionate community, we are not just making a difference—we are transforming lives and championing a future where every animal is given the chance to live, love, and be loved.
Rescue
Guided by our unwavering mission, we are constantly evolving our approach to maximize the impact of our rescue efforts. We take action through three powerful methods: rescuing strays, accepting owner surrenders, and saving those facing imminent death on the 72-hour euthanasia list from local and surrounding shelters. Our relentless dedication drives us to save lives and transform the future for animals in need, giving each one the second chance they deserve.
Rehabilitation
We are fully committed to intensifying our rehabilitation efforts, knowing it’s no easy feat. From providing medical necessities like leg braces and wheelchairs to life-saving interventions such as spinal surgeries and tumor removals, we go to any length to ensure every animal gets the care they need.
Supporting Seniors and Their Pets
If you’re a senior looking for a loving senior companion or need assistance caring for your pets, we’re here to support you. Reach out to our Senior Paw Director, Helen Bevacqua, who specializes in matching senior citizens with older pets for a meaningful bond. Additionally, if you have concerns about pet care, we offer free in-home checks, walking, and feeding to ensure your furry family members are well looked after. Don’t let health or medical challenges bring stress to you or your pets—we’re here to help keep your home and family together.
